Apple Pie Bread Bake
It is fall!!! The trees are changing color, the air is crisp and the apples are ready. My neighbors dropped off some apples from their trees. Not just a few apples….or even a box….several boxes worth. What to do with these apples? This Apple Pie Bread Bake is my attempt at using some of them.
Nothing beats the taste of a fresh apple. A little sweet, tart and sour all in one bite. Apples that are picked from a tree are different than the ones bought in the store. Sometimes there are slight imperfections on the apples or they are not uniform and are different sizes. Makes me wonder what happens to all the “imperfect” apples that don’t make it to the store. I can only hope they are turned into applesauce or pies.
Here is what you will need:
Ingredients:
- 6 Slices Bread
- 3 Eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- apples
- 1 cup brown sugar

Slice bread into cubes.
Step 2:
In a mixing bowl combine milk, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract.
Step 3:

Step 4:

Step 5:

This has become a family favorite. It is quick and easy to make…. even if you don’t know how to bake this is a great recipe. My parents had the entire family over for supper last week. I made up a quick batch of Apple Pie Bread Bake and everyone loved it!!
